Cuil.com Challenges Google Search
Cuil.com is a new search engine launched Sunday which claims to have and index of 120 billion web pages. A direct comparision with Google is not possible because Google no longer reveals the size of its search index, but it’s believed that it have between 30 and 50 billion web pages. Anyway, the most important is the relevance of the results and Cuil.com presents the findings in categories. The engine relies on the content of web pages unlike Google which is using PageRank algorithm.
