The famous comedian was detained by police last week by police in Las Vegas after the airport screeners detected an unloaded gun in his luggage. The gun, a 22 caliber Beretta was confiscated. Starbucks said today that it will close 61 in Australia and it will renounce at chief operating officer position. 23 stores will remain open and the workforce will be reduced to 1,000 positions. The current COO, Martin Coles, will be the Starbucks international president replacing Jim Aling who will leave the company.
12,000 Starbucks workers will lose their jobs when the company begins closing 600 U.S. stores this summer.
